Uninstalled and reinstalled all sound drivers (both internal and external sound drivers) (I thought that maybe that's what enabled fast startup again and/or caused the issue) Uninstalled the latest Windows minor update. But instead I got even worse troubles as it seems my Audio I just disabled it again thinking everything would work just fine. Not starting up properly when "fast startup" was enabled.īut this morning the "fast startup" was enabled again by itself, I did not enable it myself and would not have any reason to do so. It had something to do with my sound card Last time I fixed the problem by disabling "Windows fast startup" in the power options. The issue started this morning when my external sound card (Avid Mbox 3) started to have problems again which I've had before. My sound device does not start up and I get the "Audio Service not running" error message. I'm running Win 10 on a BootCamp partition on a MacBook Pro late 2013.
